Golden Hour is the most wonderful blend i have. I have 17 Garden Alchemy blends so far. I wear 7 of them over and over: Ivory Aura, Lumiere Sorbet, Nebula Noir, Forbidden Fig, Blushing Bloom, Cereal Killer, Pissed and Peachy.
Golden Hour Fall version is like fall in a bottle. Right away it’s a yummy, buttery scent. Then it becomes citrussy with orange and yuzu. It’s subtley sweet like an apple. And then as it dries it becomes a maple orange bundt cake.
It’s yummy and it’s Autumn.
Golden Hour has moved up to my number #1.

I have to agree with Deborah P. Review. I bought 3 bottles of this thinking it would smell like the older golden hour (no I’m not talking about the fall one). I’m not sure what changed as far as ingredients/scent notes? The older scent (to me) smelled sweeter/brighter & stronger.
I was disappointed that it did not smell anything like the Golden Hour I already have! Im not sure if the notes changed. I was really looking forward to the same scent!
Golden hour reminds me of French toast on a Saturday morning. Smell is slightly sweet with a warm finish. Hydrate the skin perfectly and layers so good with shea body butter. I don’t recall ever feeling this soft
When I first smelled it out of the bottle, it smelled like the movie popcorn lol… But after I applied it on the skin, I could definitely smell orange and it smelled just like fall. I paired it with Ivory Aura and it made it smell even better.
Even though the formulation is 5-star, I personally cannot smell this one! I really just smell the oil, no fragrance, though others say it's a little fruity, kind of floral. So wish I could actually smell this 🙃
I only have this one 3 stars, as I can't smell any fragrance to it at all, nor does my boyfriend... Of course, the GARDEN ALCHEMY CUSTOMER SERVICE team is amazing, and the oil still gives my skin the silkiest, most hydrated feeling, I'm a hard core fan of these oils, regardless of the oddly absent scent. I'm confident the team will help me out and I'll be sure to come back and update this review!!
The spring/summer version is reminiscent of the heavenly scent of D&G's Devotion, so amazing! Citrus notes linger with creamy gourmond bases. I cant ever be without this one. Thanks for another amazing product, Riley and GA team!
I have loved every scent so far. This is my first citrus one and I like it a lot. It softens down beautifully. Worth trying if you aren’t sure about citrus scents.
Listen, if you live for a gourmand, this is might just be a holy grail fragrance for you. She’s giving being awoken by warm rays of autumn sun and wafting aromas of pancake breakfasts. Not *my* fave, yet I get compliments about how delicious I smell.
I’ve tried quite a few oils and this is by far my favorite. It’s so hard to describe…it’s very mystic and unique, sweet, cinnamon, elegant. I can’t wait until it comes back in stock! I’m out and slowly dying without it!
